The doctor confirmed my suspicions that he has once again turned and has his head in my ribs (and the doctor could feel his feet up on the other side too). He wasn't too worried about that yet, he said he still has a few weeks to turn, and if he doesn't we were already preparing for that, so it's okay. I was kind of hoping to not have to plan for a c-section, but whatever gets him here safe we will do!
And here is a picture from last week when I was 33 weeks 4 days.
Wendy! He is getting ready to come! I am so happy for you. You look great!
ReplyDeleteGaining 21 pounds in 34 weeks is not bad! I gained 12 pounds last month alone! You look awesome!
ReplyDeleteYou look so cute! Don't worry about the weight gain, it really does come off pretty easily- I lost 20 pounds of the 35 I gained within about 2 weeks, just from the weight of the pregnancy being gone and the calories you burn from breastfeeding. Weight Watchers took care of the rest, and I am back to my pre-pregnancy weight 13 weeks after having my baby! You can do it. I am getting so excited for you! :)
ReplyDeleteDon't worry about the weight gain. Just keep doing what you are doing. Even if you gain a little more than 30 pounds it will be fine. Besides a lot of that will be water weight or baby by now anyway.
ReplyDeleteAlso, if you do have to get a c-section I have a tip I want to share with you. It is, hands down, the BEST piece of advice about c-sections I've ever recieved and I LOVE the nurse who told me about it. After you move into the recovery room and your spinal/epidural wears off, do not lay still. Try to change positions, roll from one side to the other every 15 minutes or so. It keeps your muscles from getting stiff and sore. You'll feel better and recover faster if you move around a lot the first 24-48 hours. (They won't let you sleep the first night anyway.) Hopefully, you won't have to have a c-section, but just in case I thought I'd share my favorite tip with you.
Good luck! I'm so excited for you!
