The things we'll do for sleep

To get Hudson to sleep we swaddle him, put him in the boppy, with a blanket rolled behind him and give him a pacifier. Nope, he doesn't use any sleep crutches.

One day he will be sleeping through the night and when he is older I am going to show him this picture.

He is so cute (sleeping or awake) it's hard to be upset at him for not sleeping, but I sure am tired!

  1. Oh Wendy, that picture takes me back to the sleeping struggles we had with both our boys. I understand the desperation! I feel for ya! Luckily both my sons are great sleepers now so maybe one day Hudson will grow out of this and be a wonderful sleeper.

  2. I am a big believer in Babywise, and they are strongly against sleep crutches. However, that was one part of the book that I didn't neccessarily agree with, I think as long as they are sleeping well through the night, in their own bed, use whatever works for you! And he sure looks cute all bundled up in his little nest. :)

  3. Oh my gosh! That's what we used to have to do to get Katelyn asleep (minus the blanket and the pacifier because she simply wouldn't take one). But we'd always have to get her to sleep in her boppy and then carefully transfer her and the boppy to the crib to sleep! Wow--that brings back memories! Now she's a good sleeper though so there IS hope (I just won't mention how long it took us to get her there!) Sorry about the lack of sleep but he really is darn cute!
